The conference 'Writ from the Heart? Women's Life Writing in the Long Eighteenth Century' is being held at The John Rylands Library, Deansgate on 29 January 2011.
This event celebrates the completion of the project to catalogue the Archive of Mary Hamilton, funded by the National Cataloguing Grants Programme. It brings together both researchers and curators of eighteenth-century collections; our keynote speaker is Claire Harman, who will be speaking on Fanny Burney as archivist, biographer and autobiographer.
