December Cycle to Work cancelled

Due to the weather conditions, there will be no guided rides on Wednesday 1 December

The Cycle to Work rides on Wednesday 1 December have been cancelled due to the weather:

If you are cycling during this cold snap, please be careful out there. Here are some tips from an UMBUG member:

• Go a little slower and be observant
• Try not to brake hard
• Avoid going down the side of traffic in the gutter (it is more likely to be icy)
• Avoid white lines as they are often more slippery than tarmac
• Wear warm gloves and clothing Use good quality front & back lights
