Weather podcast releases its fifth episode

A discussion about air pollution produced by the Centre for Atmospheric Science
The Centre for Atmospheric Science has released its fifth podcast about weather, climate and pollution, titled "Air Pollution Absolution". The episode features an introduction to air pollution, including what it is, why it has harmful effects, and a short walk along Oxford Road looking at just a few nearbye pollution sources. The podcast, a 30-minute radio-like show available for download from the internet, also includes a news segment covering the comprehensive spending review and the air quality impacts of Guy Faukes night.
Students and research staff have been producting the podcast, called The Barometer, since July 2010. They have released episodes examining the climate impacts of volcanoes, contrasted weather and climate at the north and south poles, and talked about monsoons.
