University audit to take place in 2011 - briefing paper available
The University is being audited in March/April 2011 by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA). The audit process will lead to a public report on whether the University is providing higher education of an acceptable quality and standard. A judgement will made as to the confidence that can be placed in the University’s present and likely future management of the quality of its programmes and the academic standards of its awards.
In order to prepare for the audit we have been asked to provide the QAA with a ‘Briefing Paper’, detailing our approach to the undergraduate, postgraduate taught, and postgraduate research student experience. Our audit will also include collaborative provision with partner institutions.
