21 Oct 2010
On 29 October at Royal Northern College of Music
You are cordially invited to attend a special lecture on the little known composer and black hero, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, as part of our Black History Month 2010 Celebrations.
We have invited Charles Elford, actor and biographer of Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, to provide a lecture on this magnificent composer and shed light on his unique life as a mixed-raced musician in a predominantly white upper-class profession.
The talk is free and will be held at the Royal Northern College of Music (Carol Nash Room) on Friday 29 October.
Doors open at 7pm and the talk will run from 7.30pm to 9pm with a break for some free refreshments.
