Event on 20 October includes a tribute to the late Professor Alan Gilbert

The event on Wednesday 20 October will mark the sixth anniversary of the University’s inauguration by Her Majesty the Queen, as well as paying tribute to the late Professor Alan Gilbert. 

The tribute will be followed by the unveiling of Professor Gilbert’s official portrait at the Whitworth Art Gallery and an Honorary Degree Ceremony.

The event starts at 1.45pm in the Whitworth Hall. If you would like to attend, contact:

Tickets are being issued on a first come, first served basis.

The Tribute and Honorary Degree Ceremony will be webcast for anyone who is not able to attend this occasion.
