Manchester University Music Society concert in October

The Music Society calendar is kicked off this year with the traditional showcase of the University’s Symphony Orchestra alongside the Music Department’s Introductory Chorus.

The event takes place on Saturday 2 October 2010 at 7.30pm in the Martin Harris Centre for Music and Drama.

The programme includes:

Nielsen                         Helios Overture
Grieg                            Peer Gynt Suites 1 & 2 op.46 & 55
Charles Griffes             Poem for Flute and Orchestra
Dvořák                         Te Deum
