Road due to re-open by end of Friday 27 August

Since the announcement on 16 August about the gas main works on Oxford Road, there have been further developments.

Brunswick Street is currently closed to enable work for a trial pit. Work is due to be completed and the road re-opened by the end of Friday 27 August.

The North West Gas Alliance have since proposed that during the September/October closure, it will be possible on the Open Days to allow access for coaches via one-directional traffic.
