Testing of Central Authentication Service upgrade will disrupt services
The University’s Central Authentication Service will be upgraded on 4 August. The Central Authentication Service allows you to access many e-resources and websites.
Between 4 and 10 August, the impact of the upgrade needs to be tested. As a result, there may be disruptions and limited availability on the following services:
- Knowlegebase
- Hornet
- JSTOR
- Ovid
- FirstSearch
Any University websites which require you to log in to the Central Authentication Service, such as the Knowledge Base, may also be at risk of disruption.
If you cannot access the Knowledge Base, further contact details are available on:
including a link to a general submission form, telephone number and physical service desk locations.
