Crucial Guide launches new features

Online resource provides advice and information to students and staff in one place

Staff who make use of the Crucial Guide website www.studentnet.manchester.ac.uk/crucial-guide/ are being made aware of two new features which they can signpost students to:

•     a section on halls and housing http://www.studentnet.manchester.ac.uk/crucial-guide/home-life/ with input from our own Accommodation Service and from Manchester Student Homes

and

•     a facility for students to email in an anonymous question to one of the central support services called Just Ask http://www.studentnet.manchester.ac.uk/crucial-guide/personal-life/ which is located on the Personal Life section of the Guide.

Students will access the site through the Personal Life section of the Crucial Guide http://www.studentnet.manchester.ac.uk/crucial-guide/personal-life/ This route has been deliberately chosen to try to ensure that the site is used appropriately and that students seeking more general advice do not make use of it.
