Cafe Politique: There is an alternative
How far can new models of co-operation offer an alternative to the way the economy works now? Ed Mayo is Chief Executive of Co-operatives UK. He will be discussing how co-operative models of business are enjoying something of a renaissance and arguing that, with increasing evidence of human behaviour as co-operative, we are missing out if we assume people are only self-interested or competitive. Join ippr north for this, the first in a new series of Café Politique events in the North West, chaired by Ed Cox, Director of ippr north.
Book on 0161 275 2648, free, adults and older children
