Centre of Excellence in Biopharmaceuticals (COEBP) networking event

University staff invited to attend

COEBP is an interdisciplinary research centre part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and the North West Development Agency.

It will be hosting its next internal networking event on Tuesday 29 June, at Manchester Interdisciplinary Biocentre (MIB), at 11.00am.

There will be a short presentation on the background to the Centre, its aims and relationship to other Centres in the region (from members of the COEBP Operational Group), followed by a presentation on the industrial context of the biopharmaceuticals sector in the North West, North of England and the UK in general (from representatives of the Health and Medicines Knowledge Transfer Network).

The remainder of the event will be informal over refreshments to allow participants to discuss their research interests and potential participation in Centre activities.
