Take a stroll at lunchtime

Get outdoors, meet new people and discover the local area

Led by a trained leader, the next lunchtime walk will take place on Tuesday 8 June, meeting at the reception of the Dover Street Building at 12.30pm and leaving shortly after that.

The walk will be a 2.4-mile jaunt over to Manchester Science Park and back via Whitworth Park, and will take between 50 and 60 minutes. It is suitable for people of all levels of fitness and walking experience - it's not a race, go at your own brisk pace. Everyone is welcome to come along.

The event is free - just wear comfortable footwear and dress appropriately for the weather. You may also wish to bring a drink with you.
