Bus services affected by city centre water main renewal

Replacement bus stops and diversions from 1 June for seven weeks
Due to the closure of the junction between Portland Street, Newton Street and Piccadilly for water main renewal works from 1 June 2010, buses will be unable to access Piccadilly bus stands for approximately seven weeks.
Services will operate from replacement bus stops and may be subject to diversions within the city centre.
The affected services are:
- 72, 77, 84 (Woodhouse), 167 (17.01 from Manchester only), 173, 188 (Ryder Brow), 188 (White Moss), 192, 201, 203, 204, 205, 206, 219, 220, 221 and X84
- Terravision services 192N, 201N and 203N
Also affected are:
- Metroshuttle services 1 and 3, which will operate on a revised route between Piccadilly and Portland Street
- Terravision service A40, which will operate from its usual stop but will follow a revised route in the city centre
