Monthly Cycle to Work Ride on 2 June and other events

June's monthly rides will converge at MMU. There'll be a free breakfast plus an update on our annual event on 16 June (see below).

Annual Celebration of Cycling - Wednesday 16 June, 8am until 2pm, University Place
Plans for our annual celebration are gathering pace and this year is set to be bigger and better than ever!
Put it in your diary and come along. We would like to see:
- All current and potential cyclists
- All those we 'Cycle Scheme' bikes (over 300 of you!)
- All those who cycle from the Oxford Road, Victoria & Piccadilly train stations!
There will be:
- *NEW* guided routes from new locations
- A Prize draw with great prizes
- Incentives for participants
- A free breakfast
- Bike check-ups
- Bike trials as part of the Carbon Cycle project
- Security marking & advice
- Support from several local cycle shops & companies

GM Cycle to Work Challenge - let's win it!
The University of Manchester is set up as an organisation as part of this great scheme
to increase cycling levels between 7 and 27 June.
The online tool can be used to set individual teams and departments and is a user-friendly tool
to calculate distances, calories used and C02 emissions prevented.
