Zumba
Zumba is a new dance fitness craze sweeping the celebrity world, with the likes of Madonna, Shakira and Victoria Beckham said to be huge fans.
Zumba is a fun, fast, high calorie burning workout which mixes different dance styles including meringue, salsa, mambo and samba and is said to be particularly effective on the abdominal and oblique muscles.
Zumba is all about having fun and the simple dance moves makes it suitable for all ages and abilities. So join the party at the Sugden Sports Centre every Thursday at 6.15pm!

Back by popular demand ... Relaxation and Wellbeing Day!
SPORT are working in conjunction with the Counselling Service to bring you another Relaxation and Wellbeing Day. The one-day workshop will take place on Saturday 8 May 2010 at the Manchester Museum on Oxford Road and include introductory sessions on dealing with stress and relaxation techniques.

Calling all netball players
We are starting a brand new summer netball league for both staff and students which will play every Tuesday evening from 15 June until 14September 2010. The league is open to everyone and the fun, social environment is ideal for beginners and those returning to netball.
The games will take place at the Sugden Sports Centre and will be played on a rotation between 6.30pm and 9.30pm. You can enter a team of up to twelve players with a minimum of seven players needed for each game.
