Andrew called up for England squad
Andrew Ellison, Sport Development Officer, has recently been named as one of the 23 members of the England Men’s Lacrosse squad, which will be competing in the Lacrosse World Championships at our very own Armitage Centre from 10 to 24 July.

Volunteers needed for Boat Race
We are looking for volunteers to fill a variety of roles over the next few months. We have opportunities at the World Lacrosse Championships 2010, the Two Cities Boat Race and the weekly Park Runs.

South Manchester Parkrun takes place every Saturday morning at Plattfields Park, Fallowfield. The run is ideal for complete beginners or club runners and you can build yourself up every week to try and achieve your personal best.

FREE training and advice for the Great Manchester Run
If you are currently in training, or need to get in training, for the Bupa Great Manchester run then Race Ready are running a number of FREE preparation runs, in conjunction with Nike and Powerade. The training sessions will take place at 10am every Sunday morning for the next four weeks, starting Sunday 18 April, outside University Place on Oxford Road.
