To celebrate the end of Wellbeing Week: 22-26 March, take time out to relax and enjoy a candlelit concert of chamber music by the University of Manchester Chamber choir, Ad Solem.
The choir consists of the most talented choral singers in the University, with around 25 members in total. They perform a wide range of repertoire, and concerts consist of a capella music as well as collaborations with University Orchestras. Recent performances have included singing at a Hallé concert at The Bridgewater Hall and also at Oxford University, both of which received superb reviews.
The concert which will take place on Friday 26 March will also celebrate the launch of Ad Solem’s first CD, 20th Century Choral Music from the British Isles. The CD also includes a work by Sir Peter Maxwell Davies, patron of Manchester University Music Society, and will be available from:
- Manchester University Music Society
and - On the door of all Ad Solem concerts from Friday 26 March
Admission Price: £9 / £6 / £3
