Three masters of the 19th century dominate Symphony Orchestra’s second concert of the year in a night of German Romanticism.
Mahler's first song cycle will be performed by baritone Alex Knox, ahead of his postgraduate studies at the Guildhall of Music and Drama, London.
The concert will also see the world premiere of "From Different Places", an orchestral work by University of Manchester PhD student, David Onac, before concluding with Brahm's much loved Symphony no.4.
