Getting the most from internal communication during periods of change
Thursday 11 February, 12.30pm – 2pm

This session will offer practical advice on how to get the most from internal communication – particularly when your area of work is experiencing periods of change.
It will look at all aspects of change communication, including:
- Identifying your messages and best spokespeople
- Choosing the best communication methods
- Formal and informal networks
- Sticky Change - case study
- Internal communication surgery
The first half of the session will look at best practice and the second half will be an interactive workshop. You’re invited to bring along your communications challenges to discuss and identify ways forward.
The session will be delivered by members of the Manchester Business School marketing and communications team:
- Paula Barrow, Director of Marketing and Communication
- Kate Jeffery, Senior Press and Marketing Officer
- Louise Crompton, Senior Internal Communications Officer

Change communications is part of the Communications Matters programme organized by the Communications, Media and Public Relations Division, together with the Staff Training and Development Unit (STDU). Sessions usually take place in the STDU.
