‘Preferred Supplier Exhibition’ taking place in March

Come along and find out more about the University’s contracted suppliers

University staff who are involved in buying consumables, equipment or services might be interested to know that the University is holding a ‘Preferred Supplier Exhibition’.

The event will take place on Tuesday 2 March 2010 between 10.30am and 3.30pm in the Whitworth Hall on Oxford Road.

The exhibition will be a good opportunity for you to meet suppliers and learn about the products and services they offer – which might be of use to you in your job.

The exhibition is based around ‘Laboratory and Medical’ and it’s hoped that the event will encourage more members of staff to use the approved suppliers.

The theme for the exhibition is “innovation” particularly focusing on the support that the laboratory suppliers provide to the University’s research and teaching.

The event has been organised by the University’s Procurement Office, who hope that staff will take the opportunity to visit the exhibition.
