New dates for graduation ceremonies from July 2011

Ceremonies will commence four weeks after end of Semester 2
Senate, at its meeting in November 2009, has agreed a recommendation for a change to the timing of the University’s summer graduation ceremonies.
This change means that the ceremonies will always commence four weeks after the end of Semester 2, thereby increasing the time available for the processing of final results and the preparation for the ceremonies.
Consequently, the dates from 2010-11 will be:
- 2010-11 11-22 July 2011
- 2011-12 9-20 July 2012
- 2012-13 8-19 July 2013
Information about the deadlines for the publication of results and associated administrative arrangements will be issued in due course.
In the meantime, the dates for the 2009-10 ceremonies remain as previously published, i.e. 5-16 July 2010, and the actual timetable will be issued shortly.
