Report of the working party set up to review options
Following a request to review the case for establishing the Manchester Business School in whole or in part as a separate Faculty, and in the light of the forthcoming retirement of the current Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Professor Alistair Ulph, a Working Party, chaired by Professor Nancy Rothwell, Deputy President and Deputy Vice-Chancellor, was established to review the options.
Following an intense period of consultation, the Working Party concluded that, taking all the relevant factors into account, the timing for creating a separate MBS Faculty is not right.
