A fun day of family activities about evolution on 21 November
Saturday 21 November, 11am-4pm
The Manchester Museum
Celebrate the 150th anniversary of the publication of Charles Darwin's book, On the Origin of Species. Find out why this was one of the biggest, most important and most controversial ideas of all time.
Join in a fun day of family activities about evolution and find out how animals including frogs, snakes and lizards have adapted. Clean and examine different animal skulls or feed our hungry predatory plants and see how they inspired Darwin. Meet scientists, join in games, draw or follow a behind-the-scenes tour of our insect stores.
Don’t miss your opportunity to see our special exhibition Charles Darwin: evolution of a scientist and uncover the story of the man behind the beard.
