First Annual Public Lecture: Regulatory Imagination and Justice Research

Pioneering criminology, regulation and restorative justice scholar, Professor John Braithwaite, will be giving the First Annual Lecture of the Regulation, Security and Justice Research Centre.
Internationally renowned, Professor Braithwaite has written many books, including:
- Crime, Shame and Reintegration (1989)
- Not Just Deserts (1990, with Philip Pettit)
- Responsive Regulation (1992, with Ian Ayres)
- Restorative Justice and Responsive Regulation (2002)
- Regulatory Capitalism (2008)
A founder of the Regulatory Institutions Network (RegNet) at the Australian National University, he is currently working on a comparative peacebuilding project.
The Regulation, Security and Justice Research Centre seeks to develop understanding of issues such as human security, policing and criminal justice through the application of inter-disciplinary regulatory perspectives and theory.
