Postgraduate symposium on small group teaching
15 Sep 2009
At Centre for Excellence in Enquiry-Based Learning on 21 October
Calling all postgraduate students!
- Are you interested in small group teaching?
- Would you like to share your experiences and ideas?
- Would you like an opportunity to present?
The Centre for Excellence in Enquiry-Based Learning is holding a Postgraduate Symposium on Wednesday, 21 October 2009, 10am - 4pm, at CEEBL, C24 Sackville Street Building.
The symposium will focus on improving teaching and learning techniques through enquiry-based learning methods. Delegates will be given lots of opportunities to support each other by sharing and discussing their experiences and suggestions for improving teaching practice. The day will include round table discussions focussing on different aspects of EBL. The focus of the event will also include the Teaching Research Nexus, linking research with teaching practice. Any researchers interested in individual accreditation with the HEA will need to demonstrate their interest in developing teaching practice and the symposium provides an ideal opportunity to explore this.
You can get involved by registering as a delegate or presenting a paper on the day.
