Cycling events in July and August

Get in the saddle for Skyride, Bike Friday and Cycle to Work
There are three great cycling events coming up soon:
Bike Friday - the last Friday of every month
Bike Friday is officially launching on Friday 31 July. This is a communal bike ride to promote cycling and encourage more people to cycle to work.
The launch event will take place in Albert Square, Manchester at 8.30am. It will feature many opportunities to promote cycling and learn more about it, including:
- BikeRight Dr Bike (get your bike a check up)
- Refreshments (courtesy of Manchester City Council)
- Information about cycling including maps and our Pocket Guide to Cycling
Please come down (either to Albert Square at 8.30am, or join one of the rides at 8am). These rides start from Stretford Arndale, Chorlton Library, Withington Library, Levenshulme Station and Prestwich Bury New Road/Scholes Lane, and end in the city centre.
Please let us know if you are planning to come on one of the rides. More information and contact details can be found at:
Skyride Manchester
You may have seen the adverts on the television. Manchester's ride is this Sunday 2 August.

These are also continuing - with a free breakfast and high viz jacket!
Every first Wednesday of the month - next one Wednesday 5 August.
We have eight or nine rides for you to join or you can just meet us at University Place, Oxford Road at 8.30am.
