University Police Liaison Office has moved

28 May 2009

Information on drop-in sessions and contacts

The University Police Liaison Office has now re-located to the Dover Street Building, on the first floor of the Old Wing of the Dover Street Building (room signposted).

PC Scott Schofield and his colleagues will run drop-in sessions every Thursday between 4pm and 6pm during term-time. They can also be contacted on 275 7042. Between them, they check the answer-phone daily. Please note that thefts cannot be reported at the Police Office: students must go to a police station to do this.

There are also the following alternatives:

  • To report a crime (not an emergency, for which 999 should be used), telephone 0161 872 5050.
  • To request advice or to raise/discuss an issue etc, email B4.npt@gmp.police.uk (this email address is checked at least daily) or telephone directly to Greenheyes Police Station on 0161 856 4466 (this number is checked twice daily). The police pledge is that enquirers will receive a response within 24 hours.

Please pass on this information to students as appropriate.
