Amis, Alvarez and Bragg: 'Literature and Suicide'

Public discussion on 3 July at University Place, Oxford Road
Martin Amis's classic 1984 novel, Money, was subtitled 'A suicide note', and it is a subject to which he has periodically returned in his later novels. This event will see him examine ideas and literature relating to the fraught subject of suicide, in discussion with Al Alvarez and Melvyn Bragg.
This reading will be followed by a Q & A session.
