The next University eLearning Network Group meeting will take place on Tuesday 5 May 2009, from 12noon to 2pm, in Stopford Lecture Theatre 2.
The focus of this session is eAssessment: showcasing examples of different ways of approaching eAssessment and how to do it yourself.
Julie Andrews, Senior Teaching Fellow in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science, will give a short demonstration on the use of TurningPoint interactive handsets involving you the audience! Discover the possibilities for formative & summative assessment in Blackboard and see how Video Conferencing engages distance students with assessment.
Please note this is an open forum and you do not need to book or register a place to attend, simply turn up.
This session will remain open for an extra hour for an extended discussion on eAssessment practicalities ending at 2pm.
All staff are invited - Academics, Learning Technologists, Administrators etc. if you're interested in eLearning, and in particular the possibilities of eAssessment, then put this date in your diary!
