University to host Italian exam sessions

Anyone interested in gaining a formal qualification in Italian might be interested to know that the University hosts a series of exam sessions aimed at anyone whose first language is not Italian.
The University is the only certifying centre in the UK for the Progetto Lingua Italiana Dante Alighieri (PLIDA), which is an official diploma recognised by the Italian Ministry's of Labour and University and Research. Exams are held at the University three times a year in May, June and November.
Exam entrees don’t need to have attended any specific language course to take the exam. To view the syllabus and trial exams, visit:
The next exam session takes place on 18 and 19 June for the PLIDA Commerciale qualification, which is intended for those who study and use Italian in the business and finance world. The deadline for registration is 10 May.
