Tabley Friends plan next big project

Fund-raising events in June and July

Tabley Friends have raised almost all of the £30,000 needed for a complete redecoration of the  Dining Room at Tabley House, completed recently by expert restorers. But the Friends still need new members to keep the success going.

You can help them fund their next project - the redecoration of the Drawing Room - by attending one of their summer events:

• 16 June
  Trip to Towneley Hall, Burnley
     
  Home to the Towneley family for over 600 years, the Hall contains fine period rooms, an art gallery and a local history museum. The Friends will have a guided tour of the house and time to visit the formal gardens and a sculpture trail.
     
• 8 July
  "A Summer Evening of Songs, Strawberries and Sparkle"
     
  The Cheshire choir, Consort, will sing a very varied programme of music - and there will be strawberries and a very nice bubbly in the interval.
