Finance Your Future: information session.
04 Feb 2009
How to get your savings on track for retirement.
Date to be confirmed, 12noon – 2pm (lunch provided)
Are your savings on track for the retirement you would like? This information session will help you plan for your future – in work and in retirement.
Staff Training and Development Unit and the University's Pensions Office have joined forces to offer this pilot session to support staff. As a guide, participants are advised to be between 30-45 years old, but this is not a mandatory guideline.
Paul Blagbrough of Age Concern Trafford will present their MoneyTrail scheme - a free CD that you can either take home or book an individual appointment to work through with Paul at a later date.
Heather Mawson, Head of Pensions at the University, will talk about University pension schemes and retirement ages.
Both presenters will welcome questions & there will be the opportunity to book a follow-up individual session with Paul to work through the CD or to book appointments with a member of the University’s Pensions Office.
There is no financial product selling involved in this session and the information you will receive is impartial. You are not required to provide any financial details but it may help you to bring your pension forecast (which you should have received in April 2008). No details provided by you will be used for any other purpose.
