Library services downtime on 29 October.

All Talis services will be inaccessible for part of morning.

The Library will be upgrading the hardware for the Library Management System, Talis, on 29 October 2008. This will mean a small amount of downtime in the morning for all Talis services, including the Library Catalogue, access to Library Accounts and the online reading list service Link2Lists. All these services should be considered at risk for the entire day.

We apologise for any inconvenience that this work may cause but the work is necessary to provide a more resilient infrastructure for Library systems and to allow for future growth of services.
