Recycling facilities in the Library.

JRUL encourages responsible waste disposal from 15 September.

In conjunction with the new Food and Drink initiative being launched in the JRUL (main) on Monday 15 September, a range of recycling facilities will be installed across the library which will enable users to recycle wastes such as paper, newspapers and magazines, plastic bottles, cans and glass.

Library users will be encouraged to take responsibility for their waste and deposit it in the appropriate bins (including one for general/non-recyclable waste) at one of the recycling points.

In addition, new waste bins will be situated outside the library entrance allowing users to segregate waste, helping to increase recycling rates.
