How to avoid fines and blocks on your Library account.

From 1 September 2008, a BLOCK will be placed on your Library account IMMEDIATELY if you have any or all of the following:

• Outstanding fines of £5 or more
• An overdue recalled loan
• A book which has been overdue for 14 days or more

You can avoid fines and blocks by returning all recalled loans by the revised due date and ensuring that your books are returned or renewed on time.
