18 July, 1pm: MA in Creative Writing students, Manchester Central Library
A chance to hear from the Centre's fiction and poetry-writing MA students before the world at large catches on, at this end-of-year showcase.
23 July, 1pm: Ian McGuire and Michael Symmons Roberts, Manchester Central Library
Centre co-director Ian McGuire published his contemporary campus tale 'Incredible Bodies' in 2006, and is currently putting the finishing touches to his second novel. Whitbread Poetry Award-winner and fiction-writer Michael Symmons Roberts' second novel, 'Breath', and new poetry collection 'The Half-healed' are both published this year.
Both events are FREE - just turn up at the Central Library at 1 pm.
