The International Young Professionals Summit brings together young professionals for networking, capacity building and information sharing. This year our focus is on "How young professionals can help to achieve the UN Millennium Development Goals" and specific topics will include governance, economy and education, women and gender equality, healthcare and HIV/AIDS, and environmental sustainability.

IYPF is built on young professionals supporting their peers to create positive change in the world. It is a Foundation with a vision of a global community of young professionals creating a better world for current and future generations through local and global action.

The University are supporting the event through Manchester Student Volunteers, part of the MLP, Careers & Employability Division.

You can participate by:

  1. Raising awareness of the event or attending as a delegate (International Young Professionals Summit 2008);
  2. Attending the Global Change Fiesta evening event on Thursday 21 August to network with young professional and organisations that are working towards creating a better world for all;
  3. Fundraising for the event in order to enable young professionals from developing countries to attend the conference (IYPS 2008 Partnership and Investments).

IYPF believes this is a great opportunity for our network to demonstrate its strength and commitment to peers assisting each other to change their world for good.
