Pay and Grading update.

Update of the progress of the final stages of the implementation of the Pay and Grading Exercise.
I am pleased to report that the vast majority of the mapping meetings were completed by 20 June as planned. Some follow-up meetings are still taking place but this won't impinge on progress with the next stages.
The mapping outcomes are currently being recorded to allow detailed analysis of the results and consistency checking to take place. These are essential pieces of work in preparation for negotiations with the trade unions, which commence in mid-July.
Work is therefore progressing on schedule in accordance with timescales in the current project plan. A summary of the plan can be viewed on StaffNet at:
