Discover hidden pages of Manchester's history. Women Asylum Seekers Together (WAST) will share their experiences of Britain and, using museum objects, highlight connections between Manchester and their respective countries. For Refugee Week.

Bug day: June Big Saturday Saturday 21 June

To celebrate National Insect Week, get up close to live insects and specimens from the Museum's collection. See moths, butterflies, beetles, stick insects, spiders, millipedes and pre-historic bugs as well as carnivorous plants. Make a cotton wheel insect or a tiny beetle book. Why not come dressed as your favourite bug?
