Seeking participants with depression or a history of depression for study.
04 Jun 2008
The architecture of social knowledge: studies using MRI and neuropsychology.
What is the study about?
The way we store and use information about our own and other people's social behaviour is not very well understood. During every day life we constantly have to evaluate social behaviours and this largely affects how we feel about ourselves and other people. Results of this study will hopefully make an important contribution to the understanding of the causes of depression. To better understand the causes of depression may help to find better treatments and ways to prevent them.
What would you have to do?
Participate in neuropsychological testing & Magnetic Resonance Imaging study with no injections or medical procedures.
What are the benefits for you?
There are no direct benefits for you. It is you who will benefit the progress of medical research. You can make an important contribution to a better understanding of vulnerability to depression by participating in our research project. However, we can reimburse your travel costs and time taken and we will give you access to the results of all tests performed.
