Sunday 8 June: Manchester's finest musicians pay tribute to the legendary gig playing their own songs plus interpretations of the artists you know and love - when Manchester Does...The Last Waltz.
The line-up includes John Ellis, Liz Green, The Travelling Band (2008 Glastonbury Emerging Talent winners), Aidan Smith, Ten Bears (The Deadbeats), Isobel Heyworth, Pete Roe and Gladeyes.
Artists being paid tribute to include Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Muddy Waters.

Friday 13 to Sunday 15 June: The Quatuor Danel Open House weekend is taking place at the Martin Harris Centre. This three day event is a fabulous music-making opportunity with the Quatuor Danel and Professor David Fanning coaching students and members of the public, directing sight-reading sessions and taking part in informal concerts alongside those ensembles who wish to perform in public.
