Make a pledge with Manchester is my Planet.

Show that you're switched on to climate change.
As the University's recently appointed Environmental and Sustainability Officer, I would like to draw your attention to Manchester is my Planet. All across Greater Manchester almost 20,000 people are taking small steps to tackle Climate Change supported through the Manchester is my Planet programme. Greater Manchester has a target of getting 50,000 people Switched-on to Climate Change by World Environment Day on 5 June.
To complement the actions the University is taking to minimise our carbon footprint, I'd like staff, together with their family and friends, to help Greater Manchester reach this goal and demonstrate that they are switched-on to Climate Change.
Switched-on people taking the Manchester is my Planet pledge will be rewarded with exclusive competitions, offers, updates and information helping them to take steps towards a low-carbon lifestyle.
Take the Switched-on to Climate Change pledge at:
Manchester is my Planet are also asking the people of Greater Manchester to take part in a survey. Please take just a few minutes to answer some questions to give your thoughts on a very important issue affecting our region. Your answers are completely confidential and anonymous.
As an added incentive, everyone who completes the survey can enter into a draw to win £50 to spend in Ethical Superstore’s online shop and ten runners up will win copies of the new book ‘Carbon Detox’ by George Marshall.
