Everyone is entitled to one vote - even if you fall into more than one category. Voting will continue until Wednesday 4 June and the successful candidate will be announced on Thursday 5 June.

If you believe you are eligible to take part in this election and have not received your ballot information by email or post by Friday 9 May, then contact:

The successful candidate will take over the role of Chancellor from Anna Ford and Sir Terry Leahy who have held the position jointly since 2001. The Chancellor is the officer of the University fulfilling the function of non-executive Chair of the General Assembly and presides over Congregations of the University for the conferment of degrees. The Chancellor also undertakes other ceremonial and representative duties on behalf of the University on an ad hoc basis. Other than expenses, the role is unpaid.
