Two Cities Boat Race - this Saturday!

Come and support the University at the 37th annual boat race between Manchester and Salford down at Salford Quays this Saturday!
Once again the day begins with the fast and furious dragon boat racing between staff and students and finishes with the fiercely competitive rowing regatta cheered on by thousands of spectators. The day starts at 10.30am with a colourful display of dragon boat racing and the rowing regatta begins at 2.30pm.
This year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever before with quayside entertainment including:
- Barbecue and refreshments
- Samba band
- Putting green
- Fairground attractions
- Cheerleading by the Salford Sirens and Universities of Manchester Cheer
- Special fly past by a Lancaster bomber at 2.45pm
