Blueplanetlive! Education Day on 21 April.
18 Apr 2008
Coaches and groups of children on campus throughout the day.
The BBC are currently touring around England and the World with "a two-hour edit of the countless awe inspiring scenes from the much loved programme". Following the public screening on Sunday 20 April at Manchester Central, The University of Manchester is delivering a unique educational programme on Monday 21 April for pupils in Greater Manchester and the North West.
The educational programme consists of a morning screening and workshop activities and an afternoon screening and workshop activities, which we expect about 1000 pupils to attend across the day. Whilst the screenings are at Manchester Central, the workshop activities will take place both in the North and South Campus, so please be aware of coaches and groups of children throughout the day. Student Ambassadors in purple T-shirts and staff will be on hand to assist and guide the school groups, but please be aware of what is happening.
