National Teaching Fellowships 2008.

Nominations invited from Heads of School/Office by 30 January 2008.

The scheme for the 2008 National Teaching Fellowships has now been announced. Fifty fellowships will be awarded, each worth £10,000. The University is invited to nominate up to three candidates. The scheme is open to all staff who teach or support students' learning, not just academic staff.

Initial internal nominations will be made by Heads of School or Office. A panel including the Faculty Associate Deans for Teaching and Learning will select University nominees for the national competition on the basis of the criteria set out on the above web site.

If you feel that you might have a case for nomination please discuss this with your Head of School/Office. The deadline for submission of nominations by Heads of School/Office is 30 January 2008.
