Volunteers wanted for Task and Time Management Study.
26 Nov 2007
Participants will be asked to use a software tool for eight weeks.
Volunteers with professional, managerial or administrative jobs are required for a study of task and time management practices.
Our research aims at understanding people's challenges and strategies to multi-task among several projects and activities at the workplace. Participants will be asked to use a software tool, the Personal Activity Manager (PAM), for a period of eight (8) weeks. PAM is a Microsoft Windows-based system designed to support individuals on planning, organising, and reviewing personal and job related activities. Our study will explore how participants incorporate the tool into their practices and its effects on personal productivity.
No monetary compensation will be given to participants for their time, but they will be able to keep the tool after the study and receive upgrades.
