Bicycle User Group Open Meeting on 5 December.

Meeting with new HE Precinct Travel Coordinator for former, current and potential cyclists.

All cyclists, prospective cyclists, ex-cyclists and anybody with an interest are urged to attend a University-wide open meeting at 1pm prompt on Wednesday 5 December in Alan Turing (details below) to meet Andrew Hough, the new Higher Education Precinct (University, plus MMU, RNCM and the hospitals) 'green
travel' coordinator Andrew Hough to discuss issues relating to cycling at the University.

This will be an excellent opportunity to hear about Andrew's role with regard to cycling, what the University has done so far for cyclists, what the University can do for cyclists and what cyclists (and potential cyclists) would like from their employer. The meeting will conclude with a discussion of the structure for two-way feedback within the HEP and University structures and informal elections for people to represent cyclists at a University of Manchester Bicycle Users Group (UMBUG) or similar.

The meeting will finish by 2pm.

The Alan Turing public entrance is currently from Upper Brook Street: take the alley between Photon Science (left) and Alan Turing (right) and enter halfway along (on the right). There is a reception desk as you enter and room G205 is past that, turn left and on the left (white doors). Look out for the signs!
