Car Park Office announces permit transfer opportunities available

To improve the current capacity issues across University car parks, the Car Park Permit Office is now able to offer a small number of transfers to other car parks.

Car parks open for application

Users can submit applications to transfer to the following car parks:

• Aquatics Centre (Car Park B)
• Booth Street West (Car Park D)
• Dover Street (Car Park G)

Application process

Anyone wishing to transfer to one of the above car parks, must email carparking@manchester.ac.uk or call in to G.002 Beyer Building to request a transfer application form.

All applications will be assessed together, and allocated based on several criteria, which will be checked, including:

• Impact on capacity at the permit holders current car park
• Building location
• Length of time a permit has been held

Due to demand, we cannot guarantee a transfer to your preferred car park.

Applications are due in no later than Friday 7 March 2025.

Applications will then be assessed, and all applicants will be contacted with the outcome by Friday 14 March 2025.
